Making the invisible visible in science museums through augmented reality devices.

This study explores the affordances of an augmented reality (AR) tool for learning about magnets and magnetic fields. Seventy students in grades 5-7 participated in non-AR or AR conditions. AR students interacted longer, showed more teamwork, and identified five learning affordances related to dynamic visualizations.
