Why Mathematics

“I’ve always liked math. I studied math in college and during the summer Math Teaching Experience for Undergraduates that I completed, I really enjoyed teaching math.”

Professional Experience

As a college student, Ned worked as a teaching assistant for the mathematics department and also as a tutor and leader of the Reading Buddies program at a local elementary school.

He also worked as an English language assistant at CEIP Cervantes in Puerto de Sagunto, an elementary school near Valencia, Spain. In this role, Ned worked with the English teacher and helped provide support as a native English speaker. He worked with both students and teachers at practicing English. 

Ned will begin his second year of teaching at Metropolitan Business Academy during the 2020–2021 school year. 

Hobbies

Ned enjoys playing board games and spending time with friends and family.
