Why Math

Math is a subject that, for better or worse, is essential for students of color to succeed in our society and make a difference in their local communities.

Professional Experience

Before becoming a teacher, Rosalie worked as a maintenance engineer in a refinery. During this time, she volunteered as a mentor with the GRIP Outreach program, which mentors high school students through sports. 

Rosalie will begin her first year of teaching at Hyde Park Academy High School during the 2022–2023 school year. 

Hobbies

Rosalie’s favorite hobby is running, specifically marathons. She trains with her dog, Ollie. His longest run was 11 miles!
