The right “fit”: Exploring science teacher candidates’ approaches to natural selection within a clinical simulation.

This study examines science teacher candidates’ (STCs) engagement in a clinical simulation addressing students’ misconceptions about natural selection. STCs interact one-on-one with a standardized student, recognizing misconceptions and responding with appropriate strategies and explanations. Findings and implications focus on STCs’ instructional practices and the use of clinical learning environments.
