“I really enjoy math because it helps people understand the ‘why’ behind the way the physical world works. It is beyond exciting for me to see the content appear around me and explain something I have been observing all of my life!”
Professional Experience
During college, Ashley tutored students at her local Mathnasium, where she taught math to students in grades K–12. Additionally, during her summers, she worked as a camp counselor in Texas Hill Country.
Ashley will begin her first year of teaching at the International School of the Americas during the 2022–2023 school year.
Hobbies
Ashley loves everything Disney does and wanted to be an Imagineer when she was a kid. She also enjoys Harry Potter and identifies as a Gryffindor. Soccer and ultimate frisbee are her two favorite sports to play.
